Storytelling
Storytelling is a narrative method with which explicit, and above all implicit, knowledge is imparted in the form of a metaphor and absorbed through listening. The listener is integrated into the narrated story to enable him or her to understand the contents of the story more easily and to think along independently. This should bring about a better understanding and integration of the knowledge to be imparted. Nowadays, besides entertainment by the narrator, storytelling is implemented among other things in education, in knowledge management, and as a method for problem-solving. |
