Business Administration Research in the field of Business Administration deals with the integration of people with disabilities in the organizational context. Team of the Business Administration Department Philipp Kreiner, Christoph Breier, Besar Loki, Anna Brzykcy, Prof. Dr. Stephan Böhm, Dr. Miriam Baumgärtner, Lars Kreissner, Flavia Kaufmann Besides reintegration processes and the prevention of inability to work, research will primarily concentrate on the implications of employing people with disabilities in terms of organizational psychology. In this respect, our research will focus on the impact of physical and psychological disabilities on employees as well as on their immediate colleagues and supervisors. Psychological disorders, in particular, confront enterprises and the society with great challenges since they register high growth rates (an annual growth rate of approx. 6% in Switzerland’s disability statistics for 2000-2009) and have an immediate impact on employees’ ability to work. For firms, this results in a serious loss of human capital, which is why the prevention of psychological illnesses should be a crucial objective for corporate practice.
