Prof. Dr. Stephan Böhm and Tim Götz on stage
Since its first edition in 2011, the conference offers a leading international platform for scientific exchange on all questions of age(ing) in organizations. Due to demographic change in many developed economies, this topic is becoming increasingly important for science and practice. We were able to welcome 75 leading researchers on ageing from 19 countries to the three-day conference.
Under the title "Creating an inclusive labor force: Aging, health and diverse abilities in the workplace," current research projects, topics and challenges as well as the future development of the entire research field were presented and constructively discussed. In the course of three days more than 50 contributions, business meetings and a World Café took place.
Furthermore, an exchange was held with Ann Uustalu, Head of Research and Innovation of the European Commission, concerning the content of the future
European research agenda on age and age diversity at work.
