The DocNet Management Symposium serves as a platform for a top-class exchange between academia and practitioners on groundbreaking issues of the business world.
With the topic of demographic change, this year's symposium took up one of the central economic and socio-political challenges of the 21st century.
In order to take into account the various facets of the topic, the symposium took an interdisciplinary approach. This was also reflected in the composition of the 120 participants, which consisted of internationally active managers, professors and scientists as well as doctoral and master students of the University of St.Gallen. This mix of participants from research, teaching and practice resulted in an intensive and lively discussion, which took into account the complexity of the topic and showed innovative approaches and possible solutions.
