The two projects in cooperation with the film production company Instantview and the nationally renowned television journalist and author Röbi Koller impressively demonstrate how even with a dramatic disability it is possible to regain a professional career, the joy of life and social inclusion if we tackle it together rather than against each other.
It's every person's nightmare. You wake up blind and completely paralyzed. This is what happened to Nils Jent when he fell into a coma after a serious motorcycle accident - it is a medical miracle that he survived. When he wakes up, he is paralyzed from head to toe, completely blind and unable to speak. Only with the help of his eyelids he is able to get in contact with others again. Slowly Nils regains important body functions and fights his way back to normality step by step. Instead of adjusting to a life in a home for the blind, Nils wants to catch up on his Matura, study, work with his head - the head, the only instrument he has left. Again and again he comes up against his own limits and external resistance. But thanks to his unrestrained willpower and captivating intelligence, but also thanks to the unconditional support and love of his parents, Nils' goals are slowly coming closer.
